Eric Reynolds - Owner of Texas Segway and Partner of Cowtown Segway Tours.

Cowtown Segway Tours began offering a complete tour of the Cultural District in Fort Worth in early Spring of 2009.  I found the thrill of the Segway experience myself in the fall of 2007 and decided that I’d like to share this adventure with others.  Since beginning tours back then,  I’ve become owner of the only Segway store in north Texas!   This has been quite the learning experience itself and now allows me to entertain several tours each week and meet new people from all over!  I currently have some great guides to help me out when I’m am in the store, which is way too much of the time.  They’re the best!

This unique tour allows our guests to enjoy the area atop their own Segway Personal Transporter for the duration of the two hour tour.  This amazing experience is unlike anything you have ever tried before!  One on one training ensures that you are very comfortable before whisking off through the museums and gardens.

We take our guests from the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and past the Will Rogers Memorial Center stopping occasionally to view a statue or a piece of art that dots the region.  We often encounter the cowboys and equestrians during one of the many events at the arenas.  Then straight to the Botanical Gardens we take you on a stretch of paths that would take hours to enjoy on foot.  We even make the trek along a serene nature trail as your Segway quietly rolls through the overhanging trees.

After spending a relaxing and visually beautiful glide in the cool shade of the Botanical Gardens, we head back past Casa Manana and then to the Museum of Modern Art to visit a very unique and interactive piece of work there.

We say Hello to Will Rogers posed on horseback in one of my favorite statues in the district and "ride into the sunset" with him on the way back home.

Training takes only about five minutes of personal instruction per person followed by a fun and sometimes challenging obstacle course prior to gliding off to view the historic area.
Our guides will keep in touch with you via wireless headsets so you won't miss a thing! You'll glide about five miles on this tour with one stop to stretch a bit while you enjoy the scenery. You must be at least 18 to ride by yourself or 14 with a parent or guardian. The Segway PT is limited to riders between 100 and 260 lbs. for safety reasons.
