The Abbey Pub was originally opened as the Shamrock Tavern in 2000 by an Irish expat from Longford, Ireland, where for centuries the Irish public house, the “Pub,” has been an integral part of social culture, a pillar of local community. Renaming the bar, The Abbey Pub in 2012, we stayed true to our community. Abbey Pub is one of the oldest Fort Worth area Irish Pubs – and one of the most popular – through a combination of our location in the heart of Fort Worth’s vibrant West 7th district near everything fun downtown and our authentic, friendly atmosphere.

With over 60 different local, national and international beer selections, Abbey Pub has flavorful beers to suit the most discriminating palate or check out our Irish Whiskey selection.
